The maker

Hi, I'm Arcel.

My skin had always been too sensitive for store-bought soap, so in 2018 I taught myself to make what I couldn't buy, local goat's and cow's milk, honey, oatmeal, tallow I render myself, and botanicals my boys and I forage on hikes. The first bars were gifts for people I love. Eight years later, mine are still the only hands that touch each bar.

The maker's note
“No two bars are ever quite the same, and that's the point. Made slow, in small batches, here in the shadow of the Tetons.”

Kind words
I've used The Little Batch soaps almost exclusively for a few years now. The carefully sourced ingredients — and Arcel's care for her suppliers — are an added bonus.
— A. Palmer

The scents are earthy and not overpowering — just pure and refreshing!— A. Ibrahim, Doha, Qatar
